Largest Scanner Area
Treating large areas with the Nd:YAG laser requires a scanner in order to ensure treatment accuracy and patient satisfaction. The S-11 scanner provides a world-leading 42 cm² scan area. With an integrated cold air cooling attachment and adjustable handle, treatments are easier and less tiring to administer.
Tissue Effect Indicator
The Tissue Effect Indicator enables the user to quickly and simply estimate the nature of treatment that the chosen laser parameters will have on the patient. It shows the balance between the ablative and the heating effect of the laser action. This contributes to shorting the learning curve and maximizing ease-of-use and safety.
VSP Technology

Pixel Screen Technology
Pixel Screen Technology provides Fotona's Er:YAG-based laser systems a fractional treatment modality. Through the PST handpieces a minimally invasive, fractional treatment effect can be added to the basic VSP Er:YAG ablative regimes, without interfering with the basic clinical properties of the Er:YAG laser beam. PST's minimally invasive, fractional effect avoids some of the adverse effect related to the invasiveness of purely ablative and fractional treatments. FRAC3®
FRAC3® is Fotona's unique rejuvenation and anti-aging treatment modality. It is a non-ablative modality that creates a three-dimensional pattern of thermally micro-damage zones. The micro-damage zones are exactly created there where age-related skin irregularities are located. FRAC3® consists of a 3D, self-induced fractional effect that is only achievable with Accelera mode pulses.
Laser Peels
With ultimate flexibility and fine parameter control a wide range of laser peels to be undertaken. The nature and strength of effects can be tailored exactly to the patient's needs by easily and precisely controlling ablation and coagulation ratios. Optional Er:YAG scanners* and a variety of larger spotsize handpieces, make treatments faster and more accurate.

Fine Lines and Wrinkles
The Er:YAG laser enables extremely precise, micron layer-by-layer ablation of the epidermis. In addition, with Fotona's VSP technology, the degree of ablation and/or deeper tissue heating can be simply and precisely controlled.
With fine and adjustable spotsizes, the areas surrounding fine lines and wrinkles can be carefully sculpted to reduce the size and impact of imperfections.
Skin Toning, Tightening and Texture Improvements (T3)
Fotona's T3 treatment utilizes the unique properties of the VSP-shaped Nd:YAG laser to tone, tighten and improve the texture of the skin.
T3 treatments use the selective absorption of the Nd:YAG laser wavelength, depositing controlled heat into the dermis having passed harmlessly through the uppermost layer of skin. This thermal effect induces collagen remodeling and new collagen formation, producing the toning, tightening and texture improvements.
Laser Hair Removal
The deep penetration of Fotona's Nd:YAG laser ensures it reaches even the deepest follicles, while its low absorption in all skin types makes sure the surrounding tissue is preserved.
