ET-100 entirely complies with IEEE 802.3 10Base-FL. Due to its small dimensions, it can be directly connected to equipment, thus avoiding the use of AUI cable. Transceiver has built-in control and signalization for power supply, data transmission and reception, collision, control of optical link, and jabber counter, as required according to IEEE 802.3.
