NightLase®
Laser Treatment for Snoring
Md5KW6BvAig
NightLase® is a fast, minimally invasive, and patient-friendly laser therapy that reduces the severity of snoring and significantly improves sleep quality. It is recommended when snoring results from tissue vibration in the back of the throat. For patients with obstructive sleep apnea (short interruptions in breathing during sleep), NightLase® can also support other treatments and help enhance their effectiveness.
A Patient-Friendly Solution
Treatment typically consists of three short sessions spaced about one month apart. Each session lasts approximately 30 minutes and requires no special preparation, anesthesia, or downtime. Some patients notice improvement after the first session, with full results developing over the following weeks as collagen production increases in the treated tissue.
Simple, Safe, and Clinically Proven
NightLase® therapy uses an Er:YAG laser in a special Fotona SMOOTH® mode to gently heat the soft palate and the area around the tonsils. This controlled heating tightens the soft tissues, reducing vibration during breathing and helping keep the airway open. The treatment is designed to be gentle on delicate oral tissues while delivering sufficient heat for meaningful results.
NightLase® is easy for clinicians to perform and has a high success rate. Its effectiveness is supported by clinical studies. Patients commonly report reduced snoring, easier breathing, better sleep, and improved daytime alertness and concentration. Improvements are often also noted by partners, who report more restful sleep. Results typically last up to a year or longer, and treatments can be repeated if symptoms begin to return.
