Endodontic Workshop: Modern Principles of Endodontic Treatment

This Endodontic workshop is designed to help general dentists gain confidence in performing simple endodontic treatments and to move a step forward towards moderately challenging cases, as well as for endodontic specialists to be updated with new modern techniques in this field, especially laser-assisted endodontics.

The three-day workshop involves step-by-step theoretical presentations of procedures, followed by a hands-on workshop on extracted teeth as well as real clinical cases.

Dr. Igor Križnar, DMD, MSc, PhD

Dr. Igor Križnar graduated in 2006 from the Faculty of Medicine in Ljubljana, Slovenia and began working as an Assistant at the Faculty of Medicine, Department of Endodontics and Operative Dentistry. He acquired the professional title of Dental Specialist in Endodontics in 2014. Until the end of 2015 he worked as an Assistant at the Faculty of Medicine, where he was engaged in work with students of dentistry in clinical and pre-clinical practice. At the same time he worked as a Dental Specialist at the University Medical Center in Ljubljana. He was also engaged in research work and earned his PhD in endodontics from the Faculty of Medicine in Ljubljana in 2016. In December 2015 he entered into full-time private clinical practice, focusing mainly on endodontics. Dr. Križnar has published numerous scientific papers in various journals and has actively participated in many international and local conferences and symposia. In 2019 Dr. Križnar graduated from the LA&HA Master in Laser Dentistry program.

Dr. Tomaž Hitij, DMD, MSc, PhD, Cert Endo

Tomaž Hitij graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Ljubljana in 2008. Since 2010, he has been working at the Department of Dental Diseases and Dental Morphology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Ljubljana, where he conducts preclinical and clinical courses. His fields of research are dental materials, dental morphology, acupuncture, orofacial pain, and lasers in dentistry. He completed his specialization of dental diseases and endodontics in 2016. He is an author of numerous scientific articles in international foreign journals and numerous popular and scientific articles in Slovenian magazines and scientific journals. He is also an author of four books. His field of research also extends to the field of paleontology, which has been his hobby for many years. He is a regular lecturer and participant in domestic and foreign dental meetings and courses. He also works in two private dental clinics treating referred patents for endodontic treatment and patients with orofacial pain. In his clinical work, he uses the latest technologies and techniques.

Prof. Dr. Roeland J. G. De Moor, DDS, PhD, MSc

Prof. Dr. Roeland J. G. De Moor is head of the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Endodontics, former Dean of the Dental School, and currently Head of the Dental Clinic at the Ghent University Hospital in Belgium. He is also the program director of the 3-year specialization program in Endodontics at Ghent University and founder of the Ghent Dental Laser Center and the Ghent Dental Photonics Research Cluster. He is an international lecturer in Laser Dentistry and Endodontics and author / co-author of more than 150 peer-reviewed international and national publications (mostly on endodontic and laser subjects). Prof. Dr. De Moor is a founding member of BAET (Belgian Association for Endodontics and Traumatology) as well as a founding member of the First World Congress of Microdentistry.


To maintain the educational quality of the workshop, the number of participants is limited. Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Cancellation Policy: 50% of registration fees will be charged if cancellation takes place up to 14 days before the start of the workshop. 100% of your total amount will be charged if you notify us about your cancellation less than 14 days before the start of the workshop.
