Enhanced Hair Removal based on the “Avalanche Effect” of the AvalancheLase® Hair Removal Laser System
The measured avalanche effect enables the performance of very effective “avalanche” hair removal by delivering a series of relatively low fluence pulses to hair follicles. This characteristic, combined with the proprietary skin cooling DMC™ technology, enables fast, painless and very effective hair removal using the AvalancheLase® laser system.
Laser Hair Reduction of Bikini Area with AvalancheLase® (755nm)
This study highlights a patient in her thirties, Caucasian, with fair skin and dark hair, who requested laser hair removal on the bikini area. She reported mild ingrown hairs in this region. The procedure was performed using the Fotona AvalancheLase® laser system with a 755nm wavelength. The treatment consisted of six sessions spaced six weeks apart, with a gradual increase in fluence between sessions to achieve effective hair removal.
Evaluation of Safety, Comfort and Efficacy of “Avalanche” Method of DMC™-Assisted Alexandrite Laser Hair Removal
The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness and safety profile of alexandrite laser hair removal performed with the Avalanche technique in conjunction with Dry Molecular Cooling (DMC™), and compare it with a hair removal treatment sequence combining both the Avalanche and stamping techniques.
