International Fotona Weekend 2016

The 13th International Fotona Weekend (IFW) will be held this year at the Slovenian Alpine resort of Lake Bled. Like every year, the Fotona Family will be gathering once again to share knowledge and to celebrate business success and family-like relationships in a relaxed and friendly working atmosphere.

The 13th IFW will begin on Thursday, May 19th, with a focus on the latest developments and product training provided by Fotona experts – organized in three sets of parallel sessions covering the fields of Dentistry, Aesthetics, and Gynecology.

On Friday, May 20th Fotona will be co-hosting the 6th Annual Laser & Health Academy Symposium, designed to exchange research and education among medical professionals in the field of laser medicine. The Symposium will focus on practical instruction and presentations of laser medical procedures and research.*

On Saturday, the stage is handed over to our Fotona Distribution Partners and their annual Fotona Distributor Presentations, during which they will share their experiences and successes on stage with other members of the Fotona Family. The afternoon and evening will be reserved for less formal social activities and our traditional Fotona Party.

*For LAHA Symposium attendees and accompanying persons, we have arranged the following optional 3-day Slovenia tour package:

Thursday: travel through time on the Bohinj rail line, enjoying the view of numerous gorges and plains, to Triglav National Park and the stunningly beautiful Soča river valley.

Friday: a tour through the past and present in old town of Ljubljana, a place where fairy tales are written. We’ll see the works of Slovenia’s greatest architect, Jože Plečnik, the outdoor markets and historic palaces.

Saturday: a trip to Slovenia’s unique Karst region to see the historic Lipica Stud Farm and world famous Postojna Cave, an indisputable highlight of Slovenia.
