FotonaSmooth™ at Sexual Medicine congress in Amsterdam

The congress, which took place from December 6th to 8th, 2012, attracted a sizable international community of urologists, gynecologists and urogynecologists, as well as a variety of psychology professionals, with more than 1,400 delegates from 71 different countries. Visitors to Fotona’s booth were highly impressed by the minimal invasiveness and high level of safety associated with the new treatments, allowing them to be performed as simple and efficient ambulatory procedures.

One of Fotona’s reference physicians, Dr. Ivan Fistonic, made a well-received contribution to the congress entitled "Laser treatment of early stages of stress urinary incontinence significantly improves sexual life". The topic garnered substantial interest, with many doctors deciding to visit the Fotona booth to learn more. On the second day of the congress, a live presentation of Fotona’s IncontiLase™ treatment was also conducted with a patient at a nearby medical clinic.

The ESSM congress on sexual medicine proved to be a very successful event for Fotona, and Amsterdam provided the perfect backdrop with a refreshing atmosphere of open and free thinking, numerous multicultural influences and an abundance of holiday spirit!
