At the beginning of the workshop, Dr. Volovec was presented with a certificate from Fotona commemorating the occasion and recognizing her contributions to the field of aesthetic medicine. Dr. Volovec graduated from the Zagreb Faculty of Medicine in 1987 and went on to become a resident in General Surgery at Brezice Hospital in Slovenia and then a Specialist in General Surgery at the Ljubljana University Medical Center in 1997. She started up a private surgery in 2005 in Brezice and has since that time specialized in laser surgery.
The participants of the dental aesthetics workshop all expressed their satisfaction with the training and looked forward to utilizing the newly discovered capabilities of their LightWalker dental lasers. The two-day Facial Aesthetics Training for Dentists workshop, organized by the Laser and Health Academy, covers theory as well as clinical demonstrations of how to use the LightWalker dental laser for performing minimally invasive facial aesthetic treatments.
