Fotona Users Bond and Share Ideas at Advanced Users Conference in Florida

5 November 2008

During the first full day participants were presented advanced treatment concepts in non-ablative and ablative laser therapies, including Fotona's Pixel Screen Technology fractional treatments, FRAC3 treatments and laser lipolysis body sculpting. Sessions were led by Dr. Thomas Sult, Fotona U.S. Medical Director and Laser and Health Academy Expert Lecturer. Robin Sult, Fotona U.S. Clinical Director and also Laser and Health Academy Expert Lecturer, provided participants her own clinical experience in case management and laser treatment protocol. Dr. Roberta Gartside covered skin resurfacing. The presented theory was followed by a rotation of live demonstrations, including hands-on time to fine-tune treatment technique, at the Sanctuary Medical Aesthetic Center. The second day covered aesthetic practice business with a focus on aesthetics consults, office presentation and marketing. The business sessions were led by Wheat Bailey of Aesthetic Business Consulting Inc. and Phil Thompson of Custom Aesthetic Technology.

During the informal program attendees enjoyed bonding with other Fotona owners, sharing ideas, treatment results and discussion on how to handle patients and cases. The conference's expert faculty helped expand treatment ideas and protocols, and further explore laser treatment principles.

Here is what some of the attendees had to say about the event:

"I would like to thank you for the opportunity to attend the Fotona meeting. This meeting was just what I needed to re-enforce the initial training with the laser purchase. It was helpful to have the change to interface with other users and ask questions. Thank you so much!" S.B., RN, Aesthetician

"I have known Aesthetic Lasers Inc. for 4 years now. I still learned a lot by attending the seminar! New technologies, new techniques. The networking with other Fotona owners to hear what they are doing gave me numerous ideas for my own practice." M.H., MD

"I am most impressed with the quality of science behind Fotona and which drives the success of the procedures. The conference was not only educational and run very well addressing all aspects of my aesthetic practice, but also an excellent networking opportunity that I feel will be invaluable." K.T., MD.
