Fotona's 8th Annual APAC Meeting in Malaysia – a Spectacular Interdisciplinary Event!

This year’s Fotona APAC meeting was the largest yet to date, with around 300 guests attending from Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, China, Taiwan, Australia, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, India and Pakistan. The meeting took place at the Shangri-La's Rasa Sayang Resort & Spa in Penang, and focused on practical, hands-on instruction and in-depth presentations of medical laser procedures and research by Fotona representatives and world-class clinical experts.

The comprehensive and multidisciplinary program of this year's Fotona APAC meeting was designed to facilitate the exchange of research and education among medical professionals in multiple fields of laser medicine. As part of this interdisciplinary endeavor, the participants of the Dental and Gynecological sessions this year were invited to join and learn more about aesthetic synergies within their field by also attending the aesthetic lectures on Day 2. During the aesthetic hands-on sessions, significant interest was noted in the company’s AvalancheLase®, SP Dynamis® and StarFormer® systems.

The event included an evening dinner party, with a traditional dance performance, as well as other social activities. The participants were highly enthusiastic about the event, and in particular gave very positive feedback on the quality of the speakers and presentations.
