Fotona Weekend Central America Brings Together Experts Across Latin America

It was a true pleasure to host the very first Fotona Weekend in Central America, held at the stunning Hotel Marriott Resort Los Sueños in Playa Herradura, Costa Rica, from August 21–23, 2025.

The event welcomed 120 medical professionals from across the region, representing the fields of aesthetics, dermatology, and gynecology. Over three inspiring days, participants enjoyed keynote presentations, expert-led lectures, and interactive panel discussions—each highlighting the latest products, laser treatments and inspiring cases.

A highlight of the program was the contribution of 12 distinguished speakers. From Costa Rica, the national speakers included Dr. Roberto Valdivia, Dr. Luis Diego Carazo, Dr. Ana Lucía Pineda, Dr. Carlos Arguedas, and Dr. Carlos Bravo. They were joined by international experts Dr. Leonardo Marini, Dr. Adrian Gaspar (via Zoom), Dr. Jorge Baños, Dr. Julio Vélez, Dr. Sebastián Vélez, Dr. Jorge Gaviria, and Dr. Liliana Fernández—together making this one of the largest and most impactful Fotona User Meetings in Latin America.

There was strong interest among attendees in Fotona’s high-performance StarWalker® MaQX and Dynamis® MAX systems, as well as the company’s latest protocols—HoneyComb® Lift, Micro Laser Coring, and SuperSMOOTH®—and advanced accessories such as the T-Runner® scanner. Other topics of particular focus included TightSculpting®, Fotona4D®, toning, and pigment/tattoo removal.

The success of the event was made possible through our close collaboration with G&G Medical Solutions, our trusted partner in Central America. Together, we showcased Fotona’s newest advancements in aesthetic and gynecological treatments while strengthening our growing presence in the region.
