Specialized Oral Surgery Workshop

This specialized two-day workshop is designed for dental practitioners who wish to learn the principles of minimally invasive oral surgery with LightWalker. Participants will gain deep knowledge of how to combine dentistry’s two most optimal laser wavelengths for minimally invasive oral surgery in order to enhance treatment success rates and shorten healing time. The following topics will be covered in the workshop:
- Overview of laser dentistry
- Laser-assisted soft-tissue surgery – frenectomy, vestibuloplasty, excisions, depigmentation, tooth/implant uncovering
- Laser-assisted hard-tissue surgery – osteotomies - implant beds; implant / wisdom tooth / torus / cyst removal; apicoectomy
- Laser-assisted treatment of oral disease – lichen planus, aphthous and herpes lesions, plus LLLT.
Treatments will be discussed in detail, followed by a selection of treatment procedures that will be demonstrated on patients. The Laser and Health Academy workshops are an ideal opportunity for dental practitioners from all over the world to interact and share experiences, ideas and expertise in a relaxed atmosphere.
