Held at a private practice in Ljubljana, Slovenia & Daruvar, Croatia (non-EU citizens might need a multiple-entry Schengen visa, check with your local authorities; free transportation from Ljubljana’s center to the venues is provided)
This two-day workshop will cover the use of Fotona’s laser systems in lipolysis, hyperhidrosis and Endovenous Laser Ablation (EVLA), with procedures explained in greater detail in individual program segments. Through demonstrations led by experts in the field combined with a visit to a surgical setting, participants are instructed in the particularities of each procedure. It is the aim that participants gain a full understanding of the complete procedures and receive the most current, best-practice guidelines. This includes covering risk assessment, anesthesia options, surgical technique and control, and post-operative patient guidelines. Through lectures and live demonstrations, between 2 to 4 participants will cover the theory and practice behind the use of lasers and learn how to perform each procedure by gaining an understanding of the laser-tissue interaction, the effects of the different parameter settings and how to identify ideal settings for specific conditions and applications.
First day: short presentation of lipolysis, hyperhidrosis and treatment procedures on live patients. Lipolysis & Hyperhidrosis training is led by LA&HA clinical expert Dr. Dusko Maletic.
Second day: short presentation of Endovenous Laser Ablation (EVLA) and treatment procedures on live patients. EVLA training is led by LA&HA clinical expert Dr. Tamara Klarić
