Dive into the Tech

Fotona® provides a comprehensive range of skin resurfacing options utilizing the Er:YAG wavelength. These options range from full field to fractional, superficial to deep, and cold to hot in any combination. This diversity and control allows for tailored treatment options that cater to each patient’s skin type, needs, and tolerance for downtime.

How it works

The Fotona® Skin Resurfacing treatment works differently depending on the type of resurfacing being performed:

Fractional

Small channels are created in a small percentage of the total surface area, triggering the skin’s natural healing process and revealing healthier, rejuvenated skin while minimizing downtime and potential side effects.

Full Field/Full Beam

Full beam resurfacing vaporizes and shaves down layers of skin where applied. This effectively removes aged skin cells and induces skin rejuvenation. Full field peels typically results in longer downtimes but can generate impressive results in very few sessions.
