Fotona ComfortLase® employs low-level, visible red to near-infrared light energy that encourages cells to heal naturally and alleviate pain.
The Nd:YAG laser light from Fotona®, with its ideal infrared wavelength, penetrates deeply into tissues. This process promotes faster tissue regeneration, enhances cell metabolism, boosts lymphatic flow, and stimulates microcirculation.
How it works
Fotona ComfortLase® creates three mechanisms of action.
Step 1
Energy is absorbed by cytochrome c oxidase within the mitochondria of cells, leading to an increase in ATP production.
step 2
The process creates mild oxidants, which leads to gene transcription and cellular repair and healing.
Step 3
Blood vessels dilate and improve circulation, which supports tissue regeneration and accelerates healing.
