What to Expect
Sessions
The Fotona® melasma treatment typically requires 4 to 8 sessions.
Recovery

How it Works
The Fotona® Melasma treatment utilizes the following mechanisms:
The Q-Switched laser disrupts melanosomes, targeting melanocytes and breaking down melanin.
Utilizing Fotona FRAC3® Nd:YAG short pulses, the laser modulates inflammation by reducing cytokines and inhibiting VEGF (vascular endothelial growth factors).
A 1064nm Nd:YAG fractional laser induces cavitation, remodels skin, and boosts collagen for rejuvenation.
The 1064nm Nd:YAG laser with Fotona FRAC3® or Fotona® VERSA pulses is used to treat visible vascular lesions.
