The 9th European Congress on Menopause and Andropause held in Athens, Greece saw Fotona leading the way with new minimally-invasive aesthetic and clinical gynecology treatments.

Today, Fotona, d.d. announced the preliminary financial results for the calendar year 2011. In 2011 the Company’s combined medical and dental laser revenues increased by 19% compared to 2010. The record growth of 59% was recorded for the dental laser division. The 2011 Company's growth in profit resulting from operations was 55% while the overall profit growth was even higher.

The International Master Course on Aging Skin (IMCAS) which took place in Paris, France from January 27th to 29th 2012, certified Fotona as one of the leaders in the aesthetic laser industry. This annual meeting is recognized as one of the most important international courses dedicated to aging skin treatments and welcomes more than 4000 participants coming from 80 different countries, with 2700 medical doctors and 1300 industrials.

The15th Biennial Congress of the European Society of Endodontology (ESE Rome), which took place from the 14th to 17th September 2011 in Rome, Italy, covered the most recent clinical research from the field of endodontology. The ESE Rome congress was divided in different sections. The first and most attended section was Cleaning and Disinfection, the greatest challenge in endodontics.
